Ordered this to hang in my house for my upcoming wedding. The material is this velvet textile and it held up well. The seller provided this double tape for us to hang our sign and even gave me extra decals like the smaller double happiness signs and butterflies. Overall, a nice purchase that will be a keepsake (Maybe friends can borrow the double happiness sign when they have a chinese wedding).
